Attorney Giulia Schaub

Who is Attorney Giulia Schaub?

Giulia Schaub joined the Horne Daller team in 2023 as an associate attorney after clerking for the Honorable Andrew F. Szefi in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, where she assisted in the commencement of jury and non-jury trials, and pre- and post-trial motions. During her tenure as a law clerk, she regularly drafted Orders of Court, memorandum opinions, and other judicial documents and monitored assigned class action, landlord-tenant, commercial-tenant, and general docket cases.

Attorney Schaub’s legal background includes experience in personal injury, worker’s compensation, Social Security Disability, and wills and estates. Additionally, she participated in the representation of plaintiffs in several class action lawsuits, which included cases against insurance companies regarding business interruption coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic and cases against a medical device company regarding the mass recall of several assistive sleep devices.

During her time in law school, Attorney Schaub worked in the Tribone Center for Clinical Legal Education in the Wills and Advanced Directives Clinic, where she advised clients in their estate plans alongside licensed attorneys and drafted wills and general and healthcare powers of attorney for clients. Additionally, she interned at a non-profit organization focused on protecting Allegheny and Westmoreland citizens from the effects of unconventional gas development. Here, Attorney Schaub researched complex environmental issues and prepared documents for hearings at the local, state, and federal levels. Attorney Schaub was also the editor-in-chief of Juris Magazine, an online publication entirely run by Duquesne law students, where she both contributed articles about timely legal topics and oversaw the executive board in their respective editorial positions.

Attorney Schaub further contributes to the team by conducting efficient and effective legal research and concise legal writing. She is a consummate team player focused on developing the important facts of each case that, combined with quality legal research and writing, enhances the potential for success. She works cooperatively and proactively with the firm members and paralegals to the ultimate goal of providing quality representation to our clients.
