Attorney Nicole Daller

Who is Attorney Nicole Daller?

Attorney Nicole Daller joined the firm in 2010 as a law clerk, advancing to an associate attorney and ultimately to partner in 2018. Attorney Daller is a consummate professional, strong but fair in her advocacy, collegial in practice, direct and informative with clients, and an effective trial lawyer.

Attorney Daller is instrumental in all aspects of the firm’s trial work, from initial case evaluation through managing discovery, working closely to prepare and assist clients throughout the process, advancing legal issues and direct trial advocacy. Verdicts and orders attributable to her efforts in state and federal courts exceed $16.67 million. In 2024, Attorney Daller obtained a $13 million jury verdict in Allegheny County, representing an investment professional subjected to defamation and interference in her contractual relationships.  In 2022, Attorney Daller served as lead counsel, winning a $2.5 million verdict in a wrongful discharge lawsuit – the largest employment law verdict in the northeast region and a top 30 employment verdict in the country. She has been equally valuable in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), helping to obtain nearly $2 million in awards. Beyond public verdicts and awards, Attorney Daller has contributed to numerous seven-figure settlements with public and private defendants.

Attorney Daller’s advocacy extends to appellate work where she has briefed and argued before Pennsylvania’s appellate courts. She manages the firm’s unemployment compensation matters and general arbitration cases, and has successfully argued before the Civil Service Commission. In addition to litigation, Attorney Daller routinely provides contract reviews, employment counseling to both employers and employees, and negotiation services.

In addition to her courtroom advocacy, Attorney Daller continues to recognize and appreciate the ever-changing climate of employment litigation and works to advance employee rights both through litigation and by promoting employee-friendly legislation. Attorney Daller is the current President of the local affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), an organization whose mission is “to empower workers’ rights attorneys through legal training, promoting a fair judiciary, and advocating for laws and policies that level the playing field for workers.”  She also served as the local affiliate’s Secretary and Treasurer for four (4) years.

Attorney Daller’s commitment to the legal profession is advanced through her status as a Hearing Committee Member of the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board, a role which requires her to evaluate violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct and recommend attorney discipline where appropriate. She was previously involved in the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division, where she was chosen to participate in the Association’s Bar Leadership Initiative in 2015-2016. In addition, Attorney Daller was named an Allegheny County Bar Foundation Young Lawyer Fellow. Attorney Daller also provides pro bono legal services to the Pittsburgh community through Neighborhood Legal Services and by serving as an Allegheny County Arbitration Division volunteer.

Attorney Daller’s success is due in large part to her mentor and partner Vicki K. Horne, as the two have practiced together for more than a decade. Together they have forged a team that provides optimal client representation and proven trial results. She also attributes her trial success to her scholarship participation in the National Trial Academy College at the University of Virginia, where she was mentored by the federal judiciary.

Nicole’s professional background prior to practicing law includes marketing, public relations and business development.
