Attorney Vicki Kuftic Horne

Who is Attorney Vicki Kuftic Horne?

Vicki Kuftic Horne has spent her entire professional career as a trial lawyer, primarily representing individuals in employment, business, and financial disputes. She is a formidable opponent. Her success in both jury and non-jury trials, as well as in sustaining those awards on appeal, has further fueled her success as a negotiator. Attorney Horne exhibits consummate skills in obtaining fair settlements for her clients. The boutique law firm she created provides an individualized approach to every professional it represents. Her success is informed by more than 40 years of trial experience during which she has honed a practice committed to providing efficient, effective, and directed client services. It is informed by her early years as a general practitioner through which she gained a wealth of practical experience in a wide range of legal arenas, and from which she chose the select areas in which she now practices. She then spent the next quarter century applying that range of experience to produce greater success for those she represents. A review of the firm’s case biography speaks to those results.

The practice focus of Attorney Horne is on employment law, business, and securities litigation. Ms. Horne has represented parties in courts and before administrative agencies in employment-related injuries and losses including wrongful discharge, whistle-blower, equal pay, defamation, retaliation, harassment, and the whole panoply of employment rights laws; before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on behalf of investors and on behalf of brokers and advisors in employment matters; and in the trial of general business and civil claims. Ms. Horne is qualified by FINRA as a securities arbitrator.

Ms. Horne represents both employees and employers. A substantial component of herpractice is providing consultation and advice to professionals in their employment relationships, with the goal to facilitate amicable resolution.

Ms. Horne has done this while raising, with her spouse who is also an attorney, three children, all of whom, she is proud to say, are successful professionals. Ms. Horne is the past President of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, where she also served on the Board of Governors and has held every officer position.
